Iran trounce Uruguay 4-2 in Futsal Confed Cup
The Asian champions Iran have clinched their second consecutive victory in the Futsal Confederations Cup held in Tripoli, Libya.
The Iranian outfit, under Hussein Shams, overpowered Uruguay 4-2 on Friday evening.
Earlier, powerhouse Iran had defeated Guatemala with the same result in their opening game on Thursday.
Hosts Libya, Iran, Guatemala, Uruguay, Solomon Islands and Spain have participated in the tournament October 5-11.
The winner of the event will be given $50,000 while the bottom-placed team will walk away with $10,000.
