Ritual (Amaal): 27th night of Rajab
This is a very holy night, the morning of 27th of Rajab is the day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) become Prophet and received his first revelation from Allah (SWT). According to Imam Javad (as) Whoever does worshipping on this night the reward is equal to 60 years of worshipping. When asked what sort of ritual should one perform Imam (as) replied:
1. After Namaaz (Esha) do the following Salaat:
12 Rakaat Namaaz 6 set of 2 rakaat. In each rakaat recite Surah Hamd
And any other surahs. After doing your salaam recite:
• Surah Hamd 7 times
• Surah Naas & Surah Falaq 7 times
• Surah Ikhlaas 7 times
• Surah AL-Kafirun 7 times
• Surah Al-Qadr 7 times
• Ayaatul Kursi 7 times
After doing the above recite the following supplication:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذى لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً وَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَهُ شَریكٌ فى الْمُلْكِ وَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِىُّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ كَبِّرْهُ تَكْبیراً اَللّهُمَّ اِنّى اَسئَلُكَ بِمَعاقِدِ عِزِّكَ عَلَى اَرْكانِ عَرْشِكَ وَ مُنْتَهَى الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ كِتابِكَ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الاْعْظَمِ الاْعْظَمِ الاْعْظَمِ وَ ذِكْرِكَ الاْعْلىَ الاْعْلىَ الاْعْلى وَ بِكَلِماتِكَ التّامّاتِ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بى ما اَنْتَ اَهْلُهُ
2. Major Ablution (غسل): Highly recommanded.
3. Ziyaraat -e-AmeenAllah
