Diary of July 15 2006: Shelling Tiberias City
On July 15 2006, in the framework of its retaliation to Zionist enemy attacks, the Islamic resistance bombed the city of Tabarayya (Tiberias) for the first time, using dozens of rockets.
Tabarayya (Tiberias) sits at 31 km from the Lebanese-Palestinian border. Alongside this bombardment, dozens of Zionist occupation settlements were also bombed including Safed, Nahariya and Karmael where one of its bridges was hit. Heavy material losses and injuries among Zionist settler ranks were reported.
Diary of July 14 2006: Battleship "Saar 5" Targeted
On July 14 2006, witnessed by millions of viewers and only a few days after the start of the Zionist aggression on Lebanon, Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah surprised everyone, friend and foe alike, when he announced that the surprises he had promised are about to start now, stating the following verbatim: "Now at sea, the "Israeli" battleship that attacked our infrastructure and people's homes and civilians, watch it burn and sink, to drown with it dozens of Zionist soldiers. This is only the beginning and we will meet at the end (of this battle) to talk at length."
This style of a declaration surprised everyone, prompting spontaneous rejoice and celebrations, public eyes became glued to satellite channels to see the anticipated scene.
Shortly afterwards everyone saw the "Israeli" Sa'ar-5 battleship getting a direct hit by the Islamic resistance rockets. Engulfed in flames, it sank with the officers and soldiers on board. The Zionist enemy denied the ship was hit at first, but aired footage of the ship engulfed in flames forced the enemy to admit its hit and claimed that only four soldiers were killed on the ship.
Diary of July 13 2006: Zionist Attacks on Beirut Airport & Infrastructure
On July 13 2006, after the resounding slap the Zionist entity received, when two of its soldiers were captured and eight others killed, the enemy expanded its attacks on Lebanon all the way to Beirut airport, and its Zionist warplanes attacked the runways in waves, badly damaging it.
A succession of raids went on for several days, resulting in the disruption of air traffic, in addition nearly 100 bridges in different Lebanese regions were bombed. The enemy deliberately attempted to tear the country apart in a malicious move to pit the Lebanese against the resistance, but this goal was met with complete failure.
Diary of July 12 2006: Operation “Truthful Pledge”
On July 12 2006, the Islamic Resistance carried out a bold quality ambush operation at the Lebanese-Palestinian border in Khallat Wardah area near Ayta Al Shaab town. Of the Zionist soldiers targeted in the ambush the resistance was able to capture two and kill a number of others.
When a Merkava tank attempted an incursion into Lebanese territory to chase the resistance combatants, the Islamic Resistance Mujahedeen destroyed the tank with a massive explosion, killing and wounding its crew.
The Mujahedeen then confronted another advance attempt, destroying another Merkava tank and a surveillance-vehicle, near the occupation settlements of Zarit and Shtula; these clashes resulted in eight enemy soldiers killed.
