Iran's principled policy is strengthening peace in region:Larijani
Tehran, April 8, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani in a meeting with Qatari Minister of Information Sheikh Hamad Bin Thumer Bin Khalifa al-Thani here Tuesday afternoon underlined that Iran's principled policy is strengthening peace and tranquility in the region.
According to the report of Majlis Media Department, Larijani said Iran's strategy is establishment of unity among Muslims and regional countries adding that Iran intends to develop ties with all regional countries.
Expressing pleasure with growing trend of friendly relations between Iran and Qatar, he called such ties useful and important for both countries.
Referring to the developments in Lebanon and Palestine, especially Gaza, Larijani called them a lesson to be learned that the era for using force to solve problems is over.
He also appreciated the Aljazeera TV News Network role in covering news and developments in Gaza during barbaric invasion of the Zionist regime.
The Qatari minister, who is also a member of board of directors of Aljazeera Network, praised Iran's stances on the Islamic world and regional issues and said that Iran's policies have always been an element of strengthening unity and cooperation among Islamic countries.
Sheikh Hamad Bin Thumer Bin Khalifa al-Thani called bilateral ties with Iran "Important, excellent and a pattern for countries of the region," and underlined that such strategic relations can be effective in settling regional issues.
