Iranian students to protest anti-Islam film

Iranian university students will gather in front of the Dutch Embassy in Tehran to protest a blasphemous anti-Islam film by a Dutch lawmaker.
Thousands of students of Tehran-based universities will stage the rally on Saturday at 15:00 local time (10:30 GMT) to condemn the release of the anti-Islam film, named "Fitna", by the far-right Dutch MP Geert Wilders.
The controversial anti-Islam film was recently posted online by the Dutch politician, who has gained notoriety for his anti-immigration policies and spiteful remarks concerning Islam and Muslims.
The release of the film sparked protests in several Muslim countries, including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The Dutch government also criticized Wilders" film and Dutch broadcasters have refused to air the video.
