“Heaven’s Sun” to shine in Palestine museum
Tehran’s Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art is scheduled to play host to an exhibition entitled “Heaven’s Sun” on May 28.
The week-long exhibit, which will be cosponsored by the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works (ICPIMW) and the Saba Art and Cultural Institute, will showcase photos of the Founder of the Islamic Republic at various stages of his struggle against the Shah’s regime and up until his death on June 3, 1989.
“Imam Khomeini in Savak’s Documents”, a 21-volume book compiled by ICPIMW, will be unveiled on the sidelines of the exhibition during a special ceremony.
The Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art is located on Mozaffar St., Taleqani Ave., near Felestin Square.
Iranians annually pay tribute to Imam Khomeini on his death anniversary and this is one of the various programs which are being held.
