Qur’anic Center Launched in London

The Islamic Teachings Department of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (A.S) launched a Qur’anic center in the British capital of London.
According to al-Kafill website, the center will offer Qur’anic education programs and conduct Qur’anic research studies.

The opening ceremony was addressed by Sheikh Ziaeddin Zubaidi, director of the Astan’s Center for Qur’an Printing, Interpretation and Qur’anic Sciences.

He underlined the importance of such Qur’anic centers in promoting the Qur’anic teachings among Muslims, especially the youth.

Zubaidi hoped that the Qur’anic center will become a hub of Qur’anic activities in the British capital.

The Astan has founded Qur’anic centers in several Iraqi cities and the London center is the first launched outside Iraq.
