Iran’s scientific progress to counter enemies’ acts
Ayatollah Emami Kashani led this Friday’s edition of Tehran Friday Prayers and touched upon the latest political issues in his 2nd sermon of the day.
“Don’t the enemies of the Islamic Republic conspire against us? Of course, they do, but the only thing which discourages them to practice their plots against Iran is the scientific progress of the country,” said the interim leader of Tehran Friday Prayers, Ayatollah Muhammad Emami Kashani, in the second sermon of this week’s ritual in Imam Khomeini Grand Musalla of the city.
The senior cleric offered gratitude toward the nation for huge turn-out at the elections on February 26, and described the participation as a threat for the enemies of Islam and Iran.
The authority to rule the Islamic community is for the one chosen by God and when he is not among us it is up to the qualified cleric, underlined the grand Ayatollah.
He quoted one of the holy figures of Islam that a country needs a ruler who observes and monitors the law, and if he becomes corrupted, the law will be violated.
Then Ayatollah Emami Kashani drew a comparison between the status of law in Iran and with other countries and contributed the relative success to the system devised for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“The Leader warned us to be careful about the one we choose as the next Leader to be committed to the nation, the revolution, and science,” he quoted Ayatollah Khamenei saying so in the meeting of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday.
According to Ayatollah Emami Kashani, Iran’s Leader had advised the Assembly to be watchful of three principles; among them resistant economy.
