The Person Behind the Bombing Arrested
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced on December 11, 2010 that it has managed to arrest the person behind the bombing. In this connection, the televised confessions made by Majid Jamali-Fashi were broadcast by IRIB. The said person confessed his role in the assassination of Dr. Ali-Muhammadi adding that he underwent training in the course of a trip to Israel and was trained by Mossad agents. He further said that he had received training at a military base in the vicinity of Tel Aviv-Beitol-Moghaddas highway for actions such as the act of pursuit, chasing cars, collecting information from a specific place and attaching bombs to vehicles. He was a member of Iran’s Pankration national team and received a bronze medal in 2009 contests in Baku.

I offer my condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of Dr. Ali-Muhammadi to his mother, wife, family, friends, students and colleagues.
The criminal hand that caused this loss unveiled the motive of the enemies of the Islamic Republic that seek to deal a blow to the country’s scientific movement and jihad. There is no doubt that the efforts by scientists, professors and researchers will foil this malicious motive of the enemy. May God exalt his position and grant patience to the bereaved family.
