Message by Mohsen Rezaee regarding the martyrdom of Dr. Ali-Muhammadi
Martyr Masoud Ali-Mohammadi known as Master Ali-Muhammadi was the professor of physics at the University of Tehran and a senior scientist in the field of nuclear technology. He was martyred at the age of 50 by Mossad agents while leaving home due to a blast caused by a remote-controlled bomb. His main specialties were elementary particles, high energies and cosmology.
The Secretary of the Expediency Council, Mohsen Rezaee issued a statement referring to the fact that he knew Dr. Ali-Muhammadi for the past twenty years announcing that the world of knowledge and commitment is sorrowful for the loss of a shining sun in the arena of scientific jihad who was the source of knowledge for many researchers who tread the path of perfection and prosperity. Rezaee underlined that Dr. Ali-Muhammadi is an exemplar of a prominent, faithful, dedicated and hard-working scientist. Rezaee added that he knew Dr. Ali-Muhammadi for the past twenty years and witnessed his fundamental activities describing him as a virtuous combatant and a free and independent person who spared no efforts in serving his country.
Attending the opening ceremony of the 2nd national festival of innovation and progress, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with Dr. Ali-Muhammadi’s wife and children and presented them with a commemorative plaque in honor of Dr. Ali-Muhammadi’s efforts.
The American Society of Physics in a message offered its condolences for the passing away of Dr. Ali-Muhammadi.
