| | 33rd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2005 : The world’s most important. Geneva, March 2005 - The 33rd International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products of Geneva is to take place in Palexpo from the 6th to the 10th April 2005. The ideal meeting place between inventors, investors, industrialists and commercial agents, the Exhibition is also where the public is invited to discover things which will make their lives easier in the future. Under the patronage of the President of the Swiss government, of the State and the City of Geneva, this exceptional event is to disclose around a thousand inventions presented by more than 700 exhibitors from 42 countries.The 2005 edition will welcome many participants from Asian countries and in particular Iran, which is to bring a strong delegation for the first time. The Sun itself will also be invited, since two spectacularly futuristic solar houses will grace the entrance of the Exhibition. Around 1'000 totally new innovations will be exhibited by industrial and commercial companies, State organisms and institutes, and also by independent researchers and inventors from all over the world. A large number of visitors are professionals who come to Geneva to do business, buy licences or find the product they need to market. As far as the general public is concerned, they will be able to discover items useful in everyday life and leisure activities.With inventions from 42 countries, this Exhibition, dedicated to innovation, is the world’s most impressive. Last year, the business volume generated during or just after the Exhibition was over 30 million US$.Apart from the chance of finding partners, the Geneva exhibitors will be able to test the performance of their inventions, since they are all judged by an International Jury. The best will be awarded one of the 39 special prizes and especially the coveted Grand Prix of the Exhibition. Furthermore, the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva welcomes some 600 journalists and about twenty television channels which guarantee media coverage throughout the world. |
