Divine Providence Prepares the Grounds for Savior of Mankind
Imam Hadi, God the Almighty prepared the grounds for the Savior of Mankind, and you played an important role in this regard.
Imam Hadi, sent e Bashr bin Suleiman from Samara to Bagdad to buy a bondwoman, but he did not know the bondwoman would be Melika (Narjes (PBUH)), the daughter of Roman Emperor, who was going to be the mother of the unique savior of the world, Imam Mahdi (PBUH).
Bashr bin Suleiman arrives in Bagdad on that particular day when ships anchor and present the captive women for sale. He sees a woman looking just like what Imam Hadi had described and while other insist on buying her, she does not want to be their bondwoman.
Bashr gives her your letter and she is moved insisting to her master, Amru bin Yazid to sell her to the owner of this letter.
Bashr says: I gave him the money and bought the bondwoman. She repeatedly kissed the letter and put it on her eyes on the way back. I was surprised and asked her why are you doing this when you still don’t know the writer and she replied “you wouldn’t say so if you knew the Prophet (PBUH) and his successors!” She told me her story and I realized her spiritual personality which made me highly respect her. When we reached Samara and I took her to Imam Hadi (PBUH) he greeted her and told his sister, Hakima: this is the respected lady you awaited and she hugged her. Imam Hadi (PBUH) told her “how was the victory of Islam and abjectness of Christianity?” “How could I explain when you know it better?” she replied.
Imam Hadi (PBUH) told her sister Hakima: take her home and teach her the Islamic rites and rituals because she is going to be the wife of my son, Hassan and the mother of Mahdi al-e Mohammad.
Imam Hadi (PBUH) told Narjes (PBUH): I congratulate you on a child who will make the world full of justice as it would get full of injustice[1].
Sheikh Tusi, the renowned Islamic scholar, believes you had 185 students on different Islamic subjects[2].
There are great scientific personalities among them including Fazl bin Shazan, Hussein bin Saieed Ahvazi, Ayub bin Noah, Abu Ali (Hassan bin Rashed), Hassan bin Ali Naser Kabir, Abdul Azim Hassani, and Osman bin Saieed Ahvazi with different scientific and cultural services mentioned in books about these great figures.
The Jamea Kabira Supplication is your work and a great resource for the Shias. The Abbasid rulers did not tolerate you and finally Motaz poisoned you in 254 A. H. and you are laid to rest in your house in Samara.[3]
