Housing Project Exemplifying the Islamic Concept of Self-Help
RIYADH,The Prince Abdullah ibn Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing and Development began as a vision of Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, three years ago. The whole idea was to help the people — especially those in remote and underdeveloped areas — to receive assistance to build their individual communities and also enjoy a comfortable and self-sufficient lifestyle.
Crown Prince Abdullah’s idea was to establish a charity as the means of achieving an independent life through the people’s own efforts.

ISLAMABADPakistan has sent relief goods for the Algerian quake victims. A special flight of relief goods containing 2500 blankets, 200 tents and 31 cartons of medicines left here Sunday for Algeria, a press report said.
Algerian Ambassador, A. Seferdjeli, officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Division saw off the relief goods consignment at the Chaklala Air Base of Pakistan Air Force.
The quake inflicts more than five billion dollar losses to the country, said the Algerian Ambassador.
