Espakhu fire temple in northeastern Iran
“Espakhu” fire temple is among the tourism attractions of Bojnourd, the capital city of the northeastern province of North Khorassan. Located in a village of the same name near the town of Maneh and Samalqan, the ancient stone temple dates back to about 500 CE and is considered one of the most important Iranian monuments from the Sassanid era (224-649 CE).
