Iraqis Hold Protest to Slam Anti-Islam Movie, Cartoons

iraqis hold protest to slam anti-islam movie, cartoons

Iraqis staged a huge anti-U.S. demonstration in the capital to protest against the anti-Islam film. Demonstrators have taken to the streets on September 28 to express their anger over the sacrilegious movie produced in the U.S.

Protesters called for the boycott of U.S.-made products in response to the insults. They condemned publication of cartoons mocking Islam's Prophet in a French magazine.

The tribal leaders also condemned the production of the film, and they described the film as an intentional insult towards the Islamic nations.

These scholars have stressed that the Islamic nation should take a firm stance to prevent such acts again and to end such insults.

Iraqi National Alliance organized the rally. Iraqis have held several anti-U.S. rallies since the release of the insulting film.
