Iran to launch new satellites into space
Islamic Republic of Iran’s Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, has announced that Fajr, Navid, and Tolou satellites will be launched into space in the near future.
According to IRIB World Service, in an address to the first conference on the satellite launching systems of Iran, on Saturday in Tehran, the minister of defense pointed out that without an active presence in space, multilateral progress and development is not possible, while adding that Fajr, Navid, and Tolou satellites will be launched into space in the near future by Iranian experts.
He further underlined that today Islamic Iran has taken major strides in space technology in the shortest possible time through reliance upon indigenous know-how.
