Intl. group to visit Tehran Book Fair
More than thirty Iranologists and Persian language scholars from 12 countries have been invited to visit the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair.
“The guests will visit the book fair during their one-week stay and attend conferences, which will be held on the sidelines of the event,” director of the Center for the Promotion of Persian Language and Literature Qahreman Suleiman told.
The guests attending the book fair from Turkey, Russia, Italy, Tajikistan, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and several other countries will also attend the Ferdowsi National Day celebrations on May 15.
The group, which has been invited by Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), will visit the holy city of Qom, Iran's National Library and Archives (INLA) and the Iranian Academy of Arts.
The 23rd Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) will run until May 15 at the City's Grand Prayer Grounds.
