Berlin Festival of Lights (Photo Gallery)

The fifth FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS™ was taking place from 14 to 25 October 2009 and kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony. Until 25 October, Berlin was sparkled as a range of illuminations and projections light up more than 50 famous landmarks and spaces, including Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral and the radio tower. For the first time, the landmark Europa-Center, as well as Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the west of the city were be illuminated.
